So.

If you want good scores, here's a few pointers.

A) Don't say what number flash it is. It sounds like you're trying to make excuses, so people go into watching already expecting something pretty bad.
B) Don't call it a test. If it's really a test or practice, you shouldn't really be submitting it.

There were absolutely no colors and the FBF wasn't pretty. Your only characters consisted of sticks, some of the most lazy characters ever (besides sprites). It's a big jump to go from sticks to full characters (I was a stick addict at one time, too), but it's worth it if you succeed.

Having said that, you did great with the camera pan, and the FBF wasn't too bad. For your second movie, you could have done a lot worse. Just try to clean up your lines (use onion skinning if you're not already), try to add music, try to add sounds, try to add color (not mandatory, but recommended), and you could have some cool stuff. RIght now it's just some black squiggles that somewhat resemble something dancing around in a blank white canvas.

So yeah. Not good, but with some practice you could get good. Just keep using FBF and keep up the good work with the changing camera angles and camera panning.

Karttibone responds:

Cool. Thank you.

Good!

Looks great. There were some really quality parts. It's a pity it was so short, but it's still worth more than the score it has now (at the moment, a 3.57). 5'd and 10'd.

Carbonwater responds:

I thought it'd end up being longer too, I was thinking that people would be lining up by the dozens to be in this.
Turns out that's not the case.

It's alright.

You're a great artist, and I love all the cool effects you used, but you really didn't do that much animating. You animated that squid-like character, I'll give you that, but almost everything else was really just tweened across the screen, and the things being tweened weren't even MCs with FBF in them. It's good, but you're better than this, and it's really just bland and not very impressive animation-wise. Tweens are useful and time-saving, but they're overused here.

On the other hand, to reiterate, nice drawings :)

Rutger responds:

Ha thanks man.

Yeahhh, I don't really have a lot of time these days :C

SO MUCH ANIME!

But because I liked all the non-anime parts (maybe 2 parts?) and all the music, 9/10.

Rig responds:

More than two - like, 8 parts.

Alright :S

PROS: I liked some of the colors you used, and the animation (for the most part) was pretty smooth.

CONS: Work on using the V-Cam, make it a bit longer (of course), and work on the timing a bit o_o when the stick slices up the cat it takes a second to even show it falling apart. Some pretty cool effects, but clean it all up! I can see a lot of minor errors in there that aren't really worth pointing out.

Penboy responds:

First, it's a bunny >:U

As with the timing I set it up so the 'cat' fell apart when a clap sounded in the song.
Thanks for your advice Blain.

Ehh...

I only liked Superawesomeness and the last one (Oouch? I forget the name.) The animation for the rest were drawn pretty poorly and seemingly with only straight lines. The last two were great though :) To the others: avoid just using tweens, put more fbf in there! Maybe use the brush tool? Also, the font on the menu was just plain hideous. Good effort, but not so great.

Timsplosion responds:

It's wierd. You use brush, they say it looks crap, you use lines, they say use brush. And yes, the username was Oouch. But yeh, the quality would have been better if this wasn't a week long collab, and please don't say "make it longer than a week" because that would defeat the point.
